Directors Election
The District’s Board of Directors’ election will be held on November 2, 2010. There are three (3) Board positions up for election and the positions are elected at large.
Qualified individuals may place their name on the ballot to run for one of these positions. The final date to file for a place on the election ballot is August 24, 2010. If interested, please come by the District office located at 1840 Highway 87 and Kahla Drive in Crystal Beach. The forms to file for a place on the ballot are available at the District office anytime during business hours.
Qualifications for a Board Member are as follows:
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must be a resident of Texas and have resided in the State for 12 continuous months.
- You must be one of the following:
- A property owner of the Bolivar Peninsula, or
- A registered voter of the Bolivar Peninsula, or
- A user of the facilities (receive water from the District).
